By joining this site, you are subject to following these rules. Any violation of any of the more serious rules will result in punishment. By joining, you are agreeing to abide by the regulations of Disney Unleashed and to respect this site and the staff that run it. If you do end up breaking a rule, do not think that it will go unnoticed for long.

ONE You may register with whatever name you like so long as you go into your profile and edit your username to suit the character that you are playing/planning to play. Be sure that you are not planning to play a character that is already reserved/taken.

NOTE: We do not accept characters from Disney Channel movies/shows or characters from the Kingdom Hearts games. But, anything else Disney (related or affiliated - like Pixar movies) is perfectly acceptable.

+ We also do not accept originals. This site is strictly canon.

TWO You must sign up with a different account for every character that you apply for. This makes things less confusing when posting IC.

THREE Do not join just to advertise! We have a board solely for advertising, and we expect any and all outside links to be posted there!

FOUR We are an advanced and literate RPG. We do not accept beginner RPers. However, even if you are a beginner, you're welcome to join only if you're looking to improve your writing skills (which we would be happy to help you out with).

FIVE Once you apply and are accepted for your character, you may NOT change your mind soon after (meaning that you cannot switch/trade characters).

SIX Signatures can be no larger than 400wx250h. Icons can be no larger than 100x100. We have the board set so that icons will be re-sized to 100x100 if you try to upload anything larger than the limit. And, we will remove or re-size signatures if they exceed our limit.

SEVEN All 'models' must be their recognized Disney face! Whether that means you're using their animated face, live-action face, or Disney face character face! We do not want regular celebrities being the faces of our Disney cast.

EIGHT No spamming this site what-so-ever! If you spam as a guest, your IP will be banned. If you spam as a registered member, your account will be deleted. There will not be any exceptions to this rule!

NINE As plagiarism has been a problem in the past, we're also going to state this NOW. Nothing from this site may be copied or pasted to your own forum. Whether you credit us or not, if you do not have specific permission from Trilly, it will not be allowed/tolerated. We respectfully ask that you do not do it. The folks here have worked very hard running and improving this RPG. We hate it when we run across copycats. You know who you are.

TEN If you have not logged onto your account(s) within one month exactly, the inactive account(s) will be delete and your character(s) will be placed back on the available list unless we are informed of your absence ahead of time. You can inform us of future absences by posting in the vacation notice board!

ONE You do not have to keep your character in their respectful RP section (as in the area where their movie is located). You may have your character roam to any location within the Disney universe and interact with a variety of different characters.

TWO If someone else is playing the character you want to apply for, I'm sorry. I cannot allow two people the same character. If there is an account with a character that you are looking to play that hasn't posted IC within the past three weeks, PM a staff member and we will see what we can do about freeing up the character for you.

THREE The staff of DU has the right to revoke your privileges if you do not play a character very well. Please play the character's attitude and personality right. We don't want to see Jafar dancing through flowers and spreading sunshine and happiness ~ no matter how amusing or entertaining that may be.

FOUR You are allowed a max of three characters. BUT, you may only start out with ONE character. You must keep him/her active, and once you have at least ten IC posts with him/her, you are welcome to apply for a second character. If we feel that you have not done justice to your first character, we do have the right to deny you the second. If you have a second character and have been an active member for at least a month, you may apply for a third character.

+ PLEASE DO NOT APPLY FOR SECOND/THIRD CHARACTERS FROM THE SAME MOVIE AS YOUR FIRST! We’re trying to keep the RP characters as diverse as possible.

FIVE To travel to different Disney locations, you may make up your own way. (Examples: using the different trees in Halloween Town or saying that your character was sucked into a vortex or that your character just went somewhere else on vacation. It's completely up to you!)

SIX Creatures cannot communicate with humans verbally unless the character did so in the move he/she came from (and vise versa). The only exception to this rule is if your character is a wilder of magic and has cast some sort of spell to allow for interspecies communication (or if someone has cast a spell on your character). The spell casting is generally done by the Wicked Queen.

ONE No God-modding.

+ God-modding is when you control the actions of another character without the player's permission.

+ Example: If you were to push someone down and say that they fell to the floor - That is god-modding! You may push someone, but it is their choice if they fall or not!

+ You are allowed to make references to other characters who are not present in the thread you are currently writing in (characters who are from the same movie as your character or whom your character has met through a different thread). You may give a reason as to why they are not there, but you cannot play them yourself!

TWO Posts are two paragraphs, minimum, please. Any less and your topic will be locked (though, for your first offense, the staff will merely give you a warning). We understand writer's block, but you must not ALWAYS have writer's block. Quality is preferred over quantity, of course.

THREE We'd prefer it if you use third person/past tense when writing in IC posts. It isn't a requirement, but it makes things less confusing when people read your threads.

+ You may bold your text or make dialogue a different color if you wish (so long as it is not blinding against the skin).

ONE No cursing! This is a DISNEY forum. Most Disney movies are rated G, which revolves around all audiences, so we wish for the site to be available to all audiences as well!

+ We will make small exceptions if the word has been used in a Disney film, so long as you can provide proof if we ask you about it.

+ 'Hell', in reference to the Underworld, is the only word we will allow without question.

TWO Just don't be dumb. It's not hard to follow the rules of this site (as there aren't many aside from what is considered basic "RPG Common Sense"). But, if you choose not to follow rules, we have the right to ban you. We will most likely just give you a warning, though.

THREE Lastly, please, please, please, if you are unsure of something, ASK A CAST MEMBER! But, please do not PM them if your concern is mentioned here (because that just shows you never read the rules and it will make us upset).

+ Feel free to also ask questions in the support board.



C-BOX

There aren’t really any rules for the C-Box. We did list some "general info" above it. So, please read that. The C-Box is an open means of communication for both guests and members. The only thing that we ask is that you please refrain from using profanity and posting links to other sites. Also, please be respectful and mind the other C-Box users. We don’t want to see any arguments take place. You can PM or e-mail one another if an argument between two members presides.

+ If you do have a problem with another member, PM A CAST MEMBER and we will try and resolve it for you.

ONE You're welcome to hang out in the OOC (general) section of DU all you want. It's our interactive hall, if you will, and we love seeing new topics of discussion.

TWO You're welcome to start threads for new games or join in old ones. We can't think up all the games you know!

+ When you join in these threads, do not change the subject to talk about off-topic things and the like.

THREE Keep all smileys to the OOC sections. Smileys are not for the RP areas.

FOUR Please do not simply sign up on DU just to play games and talk. We'd appreciate it if you woukd actually sign up to roleplay and join in the fun!

FIVE If someone isn't a fan of the same thing as you, I don't want any arguing on the subject. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion - this is not high school!
