P U P P E T !! NAME; Leslie Burk MOVIE(S) IN; Bridge to Terabithia GENDER; Female DESCRIPTION; Leslie is a girl who moved with her two parents, both writers, to the small country town of Lark Creek. She is smart, talented, and outgoing. Her talents include creativity and running. Her first day at school she beat all the boys in a schoolyard race, proving their suspicions of her being just a girl wrong. Leslie knows how to prove herself, sometimes actions speak louder than words, but she always knows how to bring across her point. Despite her being outgoing and her colorful personality and attire, she doesn't fit in as easily as you might assume and was a bit of an outcast. That was just fine with her though once she met Jess Aarons; he was all the friends she could ever need, well besides her dog, Prince Terrien (P.T. for short).
Together, she and Jess created a whole new world, which Leslie named "Terabithia". In this world, bullies became friendly giants, jingling chimes became the rattling of chains, and they themselves became the heroes that would save the land from the Prisoner of Darkness. They entered this world by swinging on an old rope across the river into woods they liked to pretend were their own.
Leslie has short, chin length blond hair and lively hazel blue eyes. She loves to smile, why go along being unhappy all the time? Leslie is always there to give a kind smile to those who need it, and doesn't fight back fire with fire, she turns the other cheek. She figures, people will give it to you anyway, you might as well have some fun in the process. Leslie is bold and not afraid to be different. She's adventurous and daring, yet gentle and observant at the same time. Her clothes are a little outrageous, full of color. Her wild imagination and interesting clothes makes her an easy target to pick on, but Leslie will always stand strong, following her own path, no wonder what others think. She's a life changer. That's exactly what Leslie Burke is.

WHY; I picked Leslie because she is a very special character to me. The fact that she has the courage to be who she really is and doesn't take grief from everybody. She's always there to shed a light on something nobody's ever thought about before. She brightens up everything, that's just who she is and I would be honored to bring some light to the character and bring her to life! P U P P E T E E R ! We're Running with the Shadows of the Night
Happily Ever After,Once Upon a Time.....these are how most stories end.And that's how it did end for all our heroines and heroes,they defeated the villains,slayed the dragons and won fair maidens hearts.Little did they know in another dimension,a creature so sinister.....so foul was watching them.He was called The Nightmare,and at will he could shape shift into anything.Watching these happily ever afters happen day after day made him fume,so he plotted against the heroes and heroines.
Finding a book filled with enchanted pages,and a spell muttered from his lips.He opened a rift in time and sucked all the worlds he could,along with the people there inside the pages trapping them.It was then he set up a town called Fairy Tale Lane where they could live,even a enchanted forest.The Nightmare then released the people into the town,giving each a cottage where they could live.
However with the book so stuffed with worlds,he couldn't contain most and the book flew open spitting out some of the worlds he had captured.Quickly closing it and binding it,he didn't want anymore escaping.With another spell,he brought back the villains that haunted each and everyone of the heroes and heroines back to life for a second chance.Even those who did not die,he brought them as well.
As for our good guys,being brought into a new town with new surroundings have confused them.All they know is that a sinister being known as The Nightmare has brought them here,his intention to take the memories of they're homes away so they will forget them and want to stay in Fairy Tale Lane.
The villains disagree to help The Nightmare,and he fades into his dark citadel working from behind the curtains.With each day going by,who still has they're memories and who does not.And with the villains now back to cause trouble,nobody is safe.This is truly,a NIGHTMARE!.

NAME; Elizabeth Swann
MOVIE(S) IN; Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl, Dead Mans Chest & At World's End
GENDER; Female
DESCRIPTION; Elizabeth Swann is a character who is spirited and independent. She starts off as the proper Governor's-daughter but progresses into a more tough-acting pirate. Elizabeth has been interested in pirates since she was really young, but quickly changed her mind after meeting one... that one being Jack Sparrow. He turned out to be different from what she expected, which was a major letdown for her because he admitted to her that there was no 'great escape' from him. So, Elizabeth had always thought that pirates were legends and mysterious, yet she finds out the most famous one drank himself into oblivion to get through those days on the island.
Even though she turns pirate herself, Elizabeth still has her propriety deep down and she's still loyal and compassionate to friends and loved ones. Elizabeth has been taught how to fight by using a sword by Will. She's good at defending and offending and has even got to the stage where she can handle two at once.
She was set to marry Commodore Norrington but later on she realised the one she truly loved was Will Turner, her childhood friend. Her father didn't approve because Will is a blacksmith/pirate, but that doesn't stop her and eventually he accepts it. From then on, Elizabeth finds herself in more adventurous and dangerous times, mainly helping their new acquaintance, Jack Sparrow.
RP SAMPLE; Elizabeth wandered through this new world, now certain she was lost. She had been sailing for a few weeks now in the search of her fellow pirates who she'd lost contact with after a terrible storm. Her ship had survived, luckily, but she had lost her crew. Elizabeth suddenly felt depression at that thought, so she focused on where she was now. All the colours and sights proved she wasn't in familiar territory.
"Oh, where am I?" She muttered to herself, starting to get frustrated. But her eyes then landed on some characters wandering around. Her curiousity took the better of her at the sight of these people, so she decided to expore before she asked around for help. Elizabeth walked along carefully and suddenly jumped back as she spotted a castle in front of her. She could feel her mouth open in shock, then a smile suddenly broke out.
WHY; I think Elizabeth would be a great character to explore other parts of Disney with and I imagine it would be interesting for her to meet all the other characters here. I love her attitude and free-spirit, so I think she'd definitely have a few adventures here...

It's a little nonsensical and quiet unexpected but for the most part -- so long as you stay on the Queen of Heart's good side -- has always been relatively safe. Ever since the death of the White Queen, however, a darkness has settled over the once vibrant world and people have started disappearing. Whispers have flooded the streets though no one dares to speak aloud what all believe to be true -- the Jabberwock has been released and he's seeking revenge.

Forever Night is an AU Alice In Wonderland Storyline based after Lewis Caroll's books Alice In Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. We're taking Caroll's world and using our own imaginations to make it bigger and more intense, personifying his characters to create our own tale. The icing on the cake? The Steampunk aspect we bring to the table. This is Alice In Wonderland like you've never see it before! We are not in any way based off the Frank Beddor series 'Looking Glass Wars' and would greatly appreciate if everyone keeps that in mind during their time here be it brief or (hopefully) long term.

P U P P E T !! NAME; Miss Bianca MOVIE(S) IN; The Rescuers. The Rescuers Down Under. GENDER; Female DESCRIPTION; Physically, Miss Bianca is rather petite- and that right there is the understatement of the century! - and covered in white fur. Her ears aren't as large as some of her species and her tail length makes up for it. But, really, there isn't much else to discuss in this area, but inside that little head is a very large imagination and a great deal of innocence. Bianca is, simply, a very happy person. Nothing ever seems to really get her hopes watered down and she can't stop smiling. But just because she's a happy, innocent person does not mean she is meek. No, sir, not at all! She takes it upon herself to represent her native Hungary and help those in need and it takes a lot of bravery, especially in a world where men are the majority in your area. But, through and through, she is still a woman and a slightly prim-and-proper one at that. She doesn't enjoy getting dirty and having things out of place, but she shan't be throwing a hissy fit if she were to get dirty. She'll just have to take the initiative to clean herself back up. The things that make her happy? The scent after a rain fall; hugs; everything turning out like it should; the good being rewarded; classical music; the color of the sky; friendly animals. On the flip side, the things that make her angry are as follows: rude and obnoxious behavior, evil being giving what they don't deserve, lightning storms, loud noises, being startled, and herself or those around her being ill. This is just a little tidbit of her brain and likes and dislikes, but it's a start.
RP SAMPLE; Cally sprang up, tail wagging as she looked at her new bestest best friend. Mick was officially awesome - heck, he was friends with her! Of course he was awesome! She sat down next to him and looked at him as he began his little melodramatic mini-play. At first, she wondered if he'd be one of those kinds of guys that would just go insane and ask her to be his little girlfriend when they had only met for a few seconds. Of course, was she insane to make him her bestest best friend after only a few moments? Nah! This was much different - they didn't have to make puppies together! Of course, with that thought, she trailed off in her mind, picturing puppies of theirs...how freaking cute! She tuned back into Mick and snickered to herself. Oh if he knew the things she thought about. If only. "Sure, sure you are. And I'm the Queen of England." She bumped his shoulder with hers. "Though, the Queen and the most beautiful creature to tread the Earth would make some pretty kick butt babies..." She spoke with a faux-suggestive tone, wondering what he'd have to say to this proposition. It was already too hilarious for words, really.
Cally giggled softly, standing and then prancing down the alleyway, stopping at the entrance and looking back to see if he would follow. Regardless, she tossed her head the way she was going, asking him to come along with her for the stroll. "I might need a big, strong man to protect me, Mickers!" Cally spoke with seriousness in her tone, hoping he'd come along. She then began to walk down the sidewalk, enjoying the silence somewhat, but it was rather unsettling. Silence and her didn't mix very well: noise was her constant companion for the longest time and not having it just made her feel exposed and nasty.
She began to feel a little panic attack coming on, as she stopped in the light of the street lamp. Her tail dropped as she stood there, still as a statue, staring in the darkness ahead that the lamp light couldn't seem to reach and claim. With darkness came uncertainty and her kind of uncertainty was if she would live another second, another minute, or a few more years. And it was scary! There was so much she hadn't done! The one perfect dog she hadn't met! Man, it was just depressing when she thought about it. But as soon as Mick had caught up with her, she snapped out of it. Her tail rose and she smiled, looking at him expectantly, not really sure what she wanted him to do. Maybe just talk to her.
"So what cha wanna do, ol' buddy, ol' pal?"
WHY; I always really liked Miss Bianca! She was one of my favorite character in Disney because she was a.) one, if not the only, girl in the Rescue AID Society and never let it stop her from getting the job done and b.) her accent = awesomeness on a stick. She is a role model girls need, though is probably not often thought of as one. Along with this, I think I could shine a new light on the character.

Devils & Black Sheep ~ Pirates of the Caribbean RP « Result #14 on Nov 2, 2009, 8:48pm »
It can be said that the downward spiral began when Jack sought the heart of Davy Jones; that unnatural treasure sent everyone on a mad sprint to the Isla Cruces, and all that followed was death and heartache. But what if witty Jack had discovered another way to avoid being called to join Jones’ crew? Devils and Black Sheep explores an untold version of the story, in which Jack Sparrow did indeed find those one-hundred souls for Davy Jones, and continued on his merry way.
Devils and Black Sheep is an alternate universe Pirates of the Caribbean role-play that occurs after the Curse of the Black Pearl and incorporates the spirit of Dead Man’s Chest and At World’s End without following their actual storylines.
Jack Sparrow and his beloved Pearl are currently in route out of Tortuga. The scallywag of world renown has recently acquired a treasure map and is anxious to discover if the proverbial “X marks the spot” is accurate or not. He might reach the treasure alive....if the captive he's taken on and his returned crew mate don't kill him first.
To add to Jack Sparrow’s troubles, a newly resurrected Barbossa has recently returned to Tortuga, intent on acquiring a ship. Setting aside his desire for the Black Pearl for now (or has he?), his interest instead is in the Naval ship the HMS Integrity currently on its way from England to Port Royal. In order to “acquire” his prize he has fixed up an abandoned brigantine, the Maelstrom and is now underway, ready to set a Royal trap. And perhaps his desire for a woman could bring about the betrayal of the man he so despises and seeks to ruin....one Jack Sparrow.
The action continues with the landlubbers of Tortuga. A small town full of rustle and bustle, but without the protection of the military by their side, the citizens have learned to always keep a careful eye on the dark alleys once the sun sets. Tortuga is a fine place, a place where pirates call their home only second to the sea, a place where everything comes with a price.
Devils and Black Sheep is an AU Pirates of the Caribbean RPG featuring canons and original characters alike; we’re huge fans of both! The board features three pirate ships and the flagship of the Royal Navy. We are currently looking for more pirates to fill out our crews as well as able-bodied seamen to man the Royal Naval ship. Adventure is not limited to the high seas as the inhabitants of Tortuga can attest.

I’ve thought about doing this on the old Disney Unleashed site last year (and the year before that), but I never got around to it. This is a contest to see who can make the best Disney Christmas banner for this site. This contest is open to anyone who wants to enter. All you have to do is make a Christmas themed site banner with the words “Disney Unleashed” somewhere on it (and any other text you wish to add is perfectly fine).
Theme: Disney Christmas Banner Size: Preferably 600x200, but any size is fine as long as it doesn’t stretch the page. Larger images will probably be re-sized anyway.
- You may enter as many banners as you wish.
During the month of December we will have a different “winter themed” site skin (don’t worry - we’ll go back to using our normal one once the holidays are over).
- The Banner That Wins Will Be Used On This Site For The Month Of December (At Least Until Christmas)
